Flooded Office Space
An office building in Union, NJ sustained a flood from a broken water supply line on the floor above them. Their sub floor was double layered plywood which posed drying challenges for us. And the building owner was hoping to avoid removing the sub floor but it had to be dried properly. So, we set up a dehumidifier and enclosed the area with plastic so we could duct the warm dry air from the dehumidifier directly to the area that was affected. We were able to direct enough heat to the area to dry the floor even between the layers. The building owner was thrilled when we told him we did not have to tear out his floor.
