Broken Water Supply Line Goes Unchecked

We were called to this home in Piscataway, NJ by the landlord who lives in another state. A neighbor notified him of water coming out of the garage. We sent a technician to see what was happening and he discovered this broken supply line to the refrigerator. The water had been running so long that the basement was filled with 3 feet of water. We shut the water off and spent the day pumping out the basement.
