What you should and should not do until help arrives is

Do’s

Limit movement in the facility to prevent soot particles from being spread  and additional damage from occurring

Place clean towels or old linens on rugs and high traffic areas.

Place wood blocks or aluminum foil between furniture legs and wet carpet

Do Not:

Wash any walls or painted surfaces.

Shampoo carpet or upholstery.

Clean any electrical equipment.
